Resplendent linear orders

چکیده
This paper introduces ‘treatable’ theories, a large class of first-order theories each having a unique countable recursively saturated model.Important examples of such theories are DIS and DLO. It turns out that resplendency or parameter-free resplendency for such theories is implied by a Σ1(Π1 ThN)-statement. Other results concerning resplendency and Σ1definability are obtained.

Resplendent models and 11 - definability with an oracle
In this article we find some sufficient and some necessary 1 1-conditions with oracles for a model to be resplendent or chronically resplendent. The main tool of our proofs is internal arguments, that is analogues of classical theorems and modeltheoretic constructions conducted inside amodel of first-order PeanoArithmetic: arithmetised back-and-forth constructions and versions of the arithmetis...

متن کاملOn Spectrum of Κ–resplendent Models
We prove that some natural “outside” property of counting models up to isomorphism is equivalent (for a first order class) to being stable. For a model, being resplendent is a strengthening of being κ-saturated. Restricting ourselves to the case κ > |T | for transparency, a model M is κresplendent means: when we expand M by < κ individual constants 〈ci : i < α〉 , if (M, ci)<α has an elementary ...
متن کاملMaximum sum element orders of all proper subgroups of PGL(2, q)
In this paper we show that if q is a power of a prime p , then the projective special linear group PSL(2, q) and the stabilizer of a point of the projective line have maximum sum element orders among all proper subgroups of projective general linear group PGL(2, q) for q odd and even respectively
متن کاملCharacterization of some projective special linear groups in dimension four by their orders and degree patterns
Let $G$ be a finite group. The degree pattern of $G$ denoted by $D(G)$ is defined as follows: If $pi(G)={p_{1},p_{2},...,p_{k}}$ such that $p_{1}
